Former VM gold medalist in high jump, Hanne Haugland, who is now the NBF contact at Olympiatoppen, recently observed a training session at Persbråten attended by our Oslo based players.  

The intention of the visit was so that Hanne could get a better understanding of badminton and she was most impressed with what she observed: Hanne commented ‘It was good to see; the emphasis that was being placed on movement and the structure of the coaching session. The focus of a number of players also impressed me, and how the squad members worked very well together.’  

It was good to have a former high profile performer attending the session. I can expect that there will be further visits in the future.
